Dragon age more spell slots

Unless I am mistaken, the tc is referring to tactics (when this happens use this ability), not the ability/spell bar. I believe Metal Gear Fred is correct, it is probably related to level. If I recall correctly there is also one of the stats that increases the amount of tactic slots you have. It's on the same level up page as trap making and such.

i actually hugely disagree. the fact that everybody has 100 mana and everything depends on your regeneration is a lot more tactical than having 1000 mana and health to cast spells with too. everybody having 8 slots created opportunity cost, and thus difference in party composition and build.
